Weaving Ourselves Whole is an invitation into an expressive arts circle that uses person-centered expressive arts (PCEA) to explore how your life experiences and emotions can be used for creative expression. This session will include meditation, movement, artmaking, and writing to connect to your inner life.
You will be invited to use this PCEA intermodal process to create an “Inner Landscape”. The Expressive Arts Circle process offered in this session can be used for ongoing, individual and community transformation. This is a journey that sparks imagination and invites us on a collective adventure to live to our fullest potential.
There will be an opportunity to discuss how this expressive arts circle model can cultivate creativity and support personal growth across the lifespan.
Materials
You are invited to use a large circle or an art journal as your “Life’s Creative Canvas” during our session. Please bring your favourite art supplies, such as watercolour paints, collage materials, your art journal or a large circle. Your circle could be a large paper plate, a circle cut from cardboard, thick watercolour paper, or a round canvas.
