Come along to our friendly and supportive session. Join with other experienced and trainee practitioners to create a safe space for exploration, learning and practice.
This month's practice session is hosted by Honorata Chorazy-Przybysz, and takes place online.
Charcoal Drawing for Emotional Regulation
This is a skills practice session.
Join this messy and expressive workshop to explore how natural qualities of charcoal sticks can help in emotional regulation. We will experiment with the fusion of somatic and creative approaches to person-centred creative arts by engaging our body movement in the making process. After the workshop, Honorata will share her own YouTube video recording of the entire process so you can always refer back to it.
Please bring with you lots of standard drawing paper or newsprint paper, soft willow charcoal sticks, paper tissues, rubber, masking tape.
Make sure you have plenty of working space for activities - you may want to set yourself up on the floor instead of desk.
Tickets are £10 for members or £5 for concessions (low waged, unemployed or full-time students).
Honorata is an integrative creative counsellor, APCCA practitioner, and expressive artist. She brings many forms of art into therapy as the core part of accessing internal material and processing, especially for neurodivergent clients. Her work focuses on merging nervous system regulation and creative practice blended with a person-centred way of finding personal expression through creativity.
